Understanding Payment Statuses
Learn what pending, failed, paid and refunded statuses mean.

Here's what each payment status in Tutonomi means.
Statuses
Booked: The lesson is scheduled but hasn't taken place yet. No payment attempt has been made.
Due: The lesson has taken place and payment is owed. If the pupil has a card on file, collection will be attempted automatically.
Waiting: The payment is scheduled and queued for processing.
Retrying: A payment attempt was declined and the system is automatically retrying. No action is needed from you at this stage.
Paid: Payment has been successfully collected.
No Attempt: The lesson is due but no payment attempt has been made, typically because the pupil has not completed onboarding and no card is on file.
Refunded: A payment was collected but has since been refunded to the pupil's bank card.
Cancelled: The lesson was cancelled before payment was collected.
Good to know
Lessons only become Due once they have taken place.
If a lesson shows No Attempt, check the pupil's onboarding status on the Pupils page.
Refunded lessons remain visible in your payment history for your records.
