How Email Replies Work

Understand how incoming replies are managed and stored.

When you send a message to a pupil from Tutonomi, they receive it as a normal email.

If they hit reply, their response comes back into your Tutonomi Inbox rather than to your personal email address. This keeps all your pupil conversations in one place and means you don't need to monitor a separate email account.

Replies appear in the same conversation thread as your original message, so you always have the full context of what was said.

You can reply directly from within the Inbox — just click the conversation, type your message in the compose area, and click Send Now.

Good to know

  • Pupils reply to a Tutonomi address, not your personal email. You won't see their replies in your personal inbox.

  • If you're expecting a reply and can't see it, check your Tutonomi Inbox rather than your email.

  • Automatic emails sent by Tutonomi, such as payment reminders, also use a Tutonomi reply address. Any pupil replies to those will land in your Inbox too.
