Manually Sending a Payment Request

Send a manual payment link if needed.

——— ••• ———

Most of the time, Tutonomi collects payments automatically.

But occasionally, you may need to resend a payment link manually.

For example:

  • A payment has failed and reminders have ended

  • A pupil has confirmed they are ready to pay

  • A card has expired and needs updating

Sending a manual payment request is quick and secure.

How to send a payment link

  1. Go to the Billing page

  2. Find the outstanding payment

  3. Click the three blue dots next to the amount

  4. Select Send Payment Link

Your pupil will receive an email with a secure link.

They can then:

  • Complete the payment

  • Or update their card details if needed

What happens next

Once the pupil completes payment or updates their card:

  • The payment will process automatically

  • The status will update on your dashboard

  • The amount will move from pending or failed to paid

You do not need to create invoices or track anything manually.

A quick note

Only send a payment link after you have spoken to the pupil and confirmed they are ready to resolve it.

This keeps communication clear and avoids confusion.
